Synopsis:

Charlotte was once a confident, vibrant young girl who embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. But lately, when she looks in the mirror, she barely recognises the person staring back at her. The pressures of everyday life have begun to take their toll, leaving her feeling overwhelmed, withdrawn, and disconnected from the things she once loved — even causing her to miss dance class. Spending time with friends no longer brings the same joy, and the weight of her emotions feels impossible to put down. For Charlotte, dancing has always been more than a hobby — it is her sanctuary, a place where she can express herself freely and find clarity amidst the chaos. However, as life’s challenges continue to build, even her passion for dance begins to feel out of reach. Concerned for her wellbeing, Charlotte’s friends come together to support her and encourage her to seek help. But recovery is not always straightforward, and the journey proves to be both emotional and challenging. Through perseverance, self-expression, and the support of those around her, Charlotte slowly begins her path towards healing. She learns to find gratitude in life’s smallest moments, reconnects with her love of dance, and starts rediscovering the person she once was. Along the way, she experiences both setbacks and triumphs, ultimately realising that life is worth holding onto — not only for the big milestones, but for the small, beautiful moments too. Join Charlotte and her friends on this heartfelt and inspiring journey of resilience, friendship, recovery, and self-discovery.

"What a brave performance! It tackled a really challenging subject matter head on in such a vulnerable way. So important for sparking really important conversations about mental health - and ultimately a beautiful celebration of friendship.
